Jad SalmanJad est un peintre-scuplteur né en 1983 à Toulkarem en Palestine.
Après avoir obtenu un Bachelor des Beaux-Arts à l’université An-Najah de Naplouse en 2005, Jad a été invité à un séjour en Norvège où il a effectué sa première exposition: ‘STOP’ à la galerie “Lademon Kunstnerverkstedecer”.
En 2004, il participe à l’exposition organisée par l’Association Palestinienne d’Art Contemporain. Un événement organisé dans le cadre de la création de l’ “Académie Internationale des Arts” de Ramallah.
En 2005, il est l’un des artistes phares palestiniens de l’Atelier international d’Art: “Printemps de Gifna”, organisé par le Ministère Palestinien de la Cultcture.
En 2006, Jad présente sa première exposition en coopération avec le Consulat Français de Jérusalem. Cette exposition s’est également produicite dans l’ensemble des centres culturels français de Naplouse, Ramallah, Hébron, Nazareth, Jérusalem et Gaza.
En 2007, Jad participe à l’élaboration d’un livre intitulé “Impressions d’une troisième personne parmi nous” avec l’écrivain Ziad Khadash. Et à la fin de la même année, Jad décroche une bourse qui lui permet derésider à la Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris (France). Durant ce séjour, il inaugure sa troisième exposition intitulée “Les Frontières du Soleil”.
Jad collabore à nombre d’expositions en Palestine, au Japon, en Arabie Saoudite, en Europe et aux États-Unis. Il est membre de la Ligue des Artctistes Palestiniens et de l’Association Palestinienne d’Art Contemporain de Ramallah.

Jad Salman
Painter and Sculpturing, born in the city of Toulkarem, Palestine, in 1983.
After obtaining a BA in Fine Arts from An Najah University, Nablus in 2005, Jad was invited for a residency in Norway that brought to light his first solo exhibition in the “Lademoen Kunstnerverksteder” Gallery.
In 2004 he participated in a workshop organized by the Palestinian Assocciation for Contemporary Art as part of the advanced activities of the planning for the International Academy of Art, Ramallah.
In 2005 he was one of the Palestinian artists who participated in the firstJifna International Artists Workshop; it was organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Culture.
In 2006 Jad had a solo exhibition in cooperation with the French Consulacate, Jerusalem, this exhibition was circulated between the network of the French Cultural Centers in Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, Nazareth, Jerusalc
lem, and Gaza.
In 2007 Jad had an art residency in Paris (France), that he made during it his third solo exhibition in the “Cité Internationale des Arts”, the title of the exhibition is (BORDERS OF THE SUN).
Jad has participated in many group exhibitions in Palestine, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Europe and USA. He is a member of the League of Palestinian artists, a member of the Palestinian Association for Contemporary Art (PACA) in Ramallah.
